Confidentiality and Privacy

At Urioste Therapy, your privacy is valued and protected. What you share in therapy remains confidential under HIPAA and state laws. Information is only shared with your written consent, unless there is a concern for safety or a legal requirement to disclose. All records and communications are securely maintained. You are always welcome to ask questions and your comfort and trust matter deeply to us.

Informed Consent

Therapy is a collaborative process built on trust and openness. Before beginning services, clients receive detailed information about the therapy process, limits of confidentiality, and their rights as a client. You are encouraged to ask questions at any time to ensure you fully understand and feel comfortable with the therapeutic process.

Telehealth Services

Urioste Therapy offers secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for your convenience. To protect your privacy, sessions should be held in a quiet and private space whenever possible. Technology issues can occur; if a disruption happens, we will reconnect or reschedule as needed to ensure continuity of care.

Client Rights

As a client, you have the right to receive respectful, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care, participate actively in your treatment planning and decisions, ask questions and express concerns at any time, request copies of your records as allowed by law, and end therapy at any time with referrals provided as appropriate.

Your well-being, safety, and empowerment are at the heart of the work we do together.
